The Bill Was Never The Point
There is a certain kind of lunch that never really feels like lunch.
It starts with a table outside, maybe too close to the sun, maybe perfectly placed under the shade. Someone orders the first bottle. Then another. The waiter stops asking if you need anything else, because by now he already knows.
Espresso arrives too late. Amaro arrives without anyone ordering it. The bill sits on the table, untouched, while the conversation moves from plans to stories, from stories to nothing at all.
The Ristorante da Cordé shirt was built around that feeling. A printed receipt from a place that may or may not exist. Portofino, sea view, espresso, Vermentino, branzino, and one line that says more than the total ever could:
A LONG AFTERNOON.
It is not about what was ordered. It is about the table you did not want to leave.
Behind the Design
The back print takes inspiration from old restaurant receipts, hotel paper slips and the quiet details you keep without knowing why. The typography feels imperfect, almost stamped into the fabric, like a memory from a long lunch somewhere along the Mediterranean coast.
How to Wear It
Wear it oversized with linen trousers, faded denim, navy shorts or swim shorts after the beach. Best worn slightly wrinkled, after lunch, before sunset.
For the afternoons that were never supposed to end.
